Datgel View — security and hosting. Two deployment options. Your data stays where you decide.
Self-host (Docker)

Datgel View uses OpenID Connect (OIDC) via 10Duke for authentication. Single sign-on with your existing identity provider (Azure AD / Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Okta) is supported via 10Duke federation. Per-organisation roles control admin and end-user access; per-project assignment controls who sees which data.
For self-hosted deployments, data stays wherever you put the container. For managed hosting, the default region is Australia East. Other Azure regions are available on request — contact us for pricing.
The application database (SQLite by default; PostgreSQL supported for larger deployments) holds:
Your gINT database is never copied. Datgel View reads from it on demand via SQL.
/app/data/view.db — back up alongside your other infrastructure backups.Datgel View releases happen on a regular cadence. For managed hosting, updates are applied automatically on each release with prior notice for breaking changes. For self-hosted, you pull the new container image when it suits your change-control process.
Every Datgel View release is code-signed with Datgel's EV Authenticode certificate, and the application verifies its own binaries at startup — a tampered deployment refuses to run. Datgel View runs on the current long-term-support .NET platform (.NET 10), and each release ships with the latest platform security patches.
