Technical Lead .NET

This is a full time position based in Kuala Lumpur Area, Malaysia.

We are looking for a technical lead to join our niche software company with an international client base.

This role will be the key person responsible to lead and drive the development team through all aspects of software development including requirements analysis, design, technology selection, development, testing and maintenance of .NET applications and add-ins, database design, SQL Server administration, and authoring of user and developer documentation.

Requirements
  • University degree in computer science or software engineering
  • 10+ years’ commercial experience, mostly with .NET
  • Technical lead and project management experience
  • Ability to provide accurate estimates and contribute to proposals
  • Experience across the full software development life-cycle (at least 2 rounds)
  • Proven analytical and problem solving ability
  • OO programming in Microsoft.NET, including VB.NET, C#, C++, WinForms, data access, MVC, entity framework
  • SQL Server development and administration
  • DevExpress WinForm Controls experience beneficial
  • WiX Toolset and VS setup
  • Practical knowledge on web servers such as IIS
  • Superior written and verbal English communication skills
  • Good organisation and planning skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to work independently and mentor/lead developers
  • Experience with MS Azure, and GIS or CAD systems of some benefit
  • Good general knowledge of physics, chemistry and applied mathematics
  • Able for monthly travel to Singapore for a few work days
  • Malaysia citizen or Malaysia PR status

Geotechnical Software Sales Engineer, three roles

Based in (1) USA or Canada, (2) UK, and (3) GEC.

This role will build a database of potential users, proactively sell our software including providing software demonstrations, organise and execute marketing and training events, gINT report/database development, and provide basic to moderate technical support.

Digital Marketing Specialist, part time 2 days/week

Based in Kuala Lumpur.

We are looking for a part time experienced digital marketing specialist to join our niche software company with an international client base.
This is a hands-on role will be supporting our Managing Director with planning, managing and executing all digital marketing and public relations campaigns as well as limited offline marketing.

Requirements
  • Possess relevant degree or diploma
  • 3+ year's experience in digital marketing and PR, with some offline marketing experience
  • Able to be hands on, for example: write html, content creation, website CMS upkeep, create EDMs, image and video editing etc
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite
  • Competent in budget creation and management as well as optimising spend for best return
  • Must have business level English - written and verbal - and confident in communicating with an international market and our Australian MD
  • Ability to speak or write in other languages a bonus

Senior Accounts Executive, part time 3 days/week

Based in Singapore.

We are looking for an experienced accounts executive to join our niche software company with an international client base.
This role will be responsible for assisting our Managing Director in all areas of accounting & bookkeeping, payroll and human resource administration, as well as perform full sets of accounts for our group of companies located in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. 

Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts & bookkeeping for the group of companies (training provided for foreign requirements)
  • Payroll and HR admin for the group of companies
  • Monthly management reporting
  • Sales reports and data checking
  • Government claims and grants
  • Some office administration
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role for local SMEs, inclusive of payroll and HR admin
  • IT saavy 
  • Intermediate skills in MYOB and MS Office (including the use of formulas, Vlookup and Pivot tables in Excel)
  • Detailed and organised
  • Must have business level English and confident in communicating with international clients and our Australian MD
  • Pro-active; possessing a can-do attitude with excellent problem solving abilities

Inside Sales Executive - Software

Based in Singapore.

We are looking for an Inside Sales Executive to join our niche software company with an international client base.
This role will be responsible for supporting our Managing Director in all sales related activities, client relationship management and sales administration.
Responsibilities
  • Generate sales leads with new and existing clients through phone & email to offer our range of products and licenses
  • Create and line up meeting opportunities for our Managing Director
  • Make quotes and invoices accurately
  • Fulfill and ship out orders for our software products and licenses
  • Provide a high level of customer service to our international clients 
  • Manage client database & track transactional information in a CRM
  • Provide basic software support to our clients 
  • Co-ordinate and prepare all logistics and materials needed for conferences, seminars and training courses
  • Upkeep web store administration
  • Support with office administration
  • Assist sales engineers and Managing Director in sales and events related matters
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in IT, engineering or science
  • 1+ year's experience in technical sales in an office based role
  • Speak and write business level English
  • Strong user IT skills and a competent user of MYOB, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Detail & process orientated 
  • Proactive; possessing a can-do attitude and a problem solver
  • Demonstrate confidence in communicating with international clients and our Australian MD
  • Skills in speaking other languages will be a bonus

This is a full time position in our Singapore office (Bugis) adhering to normal business hours. This position will be offered renumeration package consisting of base salary with commission.
