Datgel Processor Affinity Manager

Processor Affinity Manager

The Datgel Processor Affinity Manager manages multiple instances of Windows programs, such as gINT, to run on different individual cores of a multi-core processor in a Windows Terminal Services or desktop environment.

The following screenshot shows 8 instances of a Windows program running on a PC with an 8-core processor, without the Processor Affinity Manager. All 8 instances of the Windows program are running on the first core only, and is not using the PC's maximum potential.

The following screenshot shows 8 instances of a Windows program running on a PC with an 8-core processor with the Processor Affinity Manager. The instances of the program are equally distributed on each core by the Processor Affinity Manager, thus maximising the CPU usage and improving the performance of the program.
